Electric Singing Amoebae from Outer Space
Electric Singing Amoebae from Outer Space is an interactive installation that was part of the School of Machines, Making & Make-Believe Responsive Spaces exhibition at Urban Spree in July 2014. It is a node-based music sequencer which takes input from up to three people using the Kinect 3D camera. A musical sequencer running in Max/MSP plays arpeggios and percussion sounds based on the positions and postures of the people interacting. A projection developed in openFrameworks visualises the interaction as amoeba floating in space.
